A devoted daughter, sister, auntie, Godmother, and friend, Eboni Faith embodied grace, resilience, and unwavering faith. Her passion for serving others began at an early age and continued throughout her life.
After earning her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services from Alabama State University in 2020, she pursued a Master’s in Occupational Therapy—pausing her studies only to focus on her health. Even then, Eboni continued to uplift and inspire those around her.

The EFJ Foundation, established in 2025, honors the life and legacy of Eboni Faith Johnson, who was diagnosed with stage 2 triple‑negative breast cancer at just 23 years old. Through Eboni’s courageous journey, her family and community witnessed firsthand the critical importance of early detection, self‑advocacy, and accessible breast health education—especially for young women of color.
Fueled by faith, family, and unwavering support, Eboni became a youth ambassador for Sister’s Network Inc., using her voice to educate and empower young women about breast health awareness. Even throughout her diagnosis, Eboni remained intentional about being present as a daughter, sister, aunt, Godmother, and
friend—continuing to find joy in the journey and inspiring others with her resilience.
In October 2023, Eboni’s cancer returned as stage 4 triple‑negative breast cancer. After a brave and faith‑filled fight, she gained her heavenly wings on July 2, 2024. Her strength, advocacy, and spirit continue to guide the mission of the EFJ Foundation.
The EFJ Foundation exists not only to honor Eboni’s life, but to provide resources, education, and support to women and families impacted by breast cancer. Through community outreach, awareness initiatives, and empowerment programs, the foundation is committed to advancing early detection, promoting self‑advocacy, and ensuring that no woman faces breast cancer alone.
